Writing, Wine & Music in Solva

A long- awaited dream come true! Reading in the Ruel Speek Gallery in beautiful Solva. The cover image of Writing on Water came from an artwork by the Cuban painter, whose work I’ve always admired, and on August 9th the artist and his wife Heather will be hosting a launch of my book of short stories in accompaniment to music from Ruel and a glass (or two!) of wine. The Pembrokeshire coast is one of Wales’ gems, with suberb walking and a variety of activities from cultural to the physically invigorating. Some of the tales in the book are inspired by the Caribbean, but there are also universally themed stories ranging from motherhood, women’s identity, migration and modern takes on fairy tales. Free entry but please book a place. We don’t want to run out of wine! Writing on Water is published by Seren Books.
