I will not be sorry to see the end of March! Snow showers, cold winds, cancelled gigs…! But now with April round the corner and spring flowers springing up everywhere it’s time to look ahead! A big thank you first to the Creative Writing & Reading Series at Kent Uni who invited me to read back in February – a dismal cold night miraculously attended by a great group of people, special thanks to Nancy Gaffield and Jessica Stone for their welcome and the recording of my reading which can be accessed here https://mixcloud.com/DearReaderShow/ep-35-in-the-writers-room-with-maggie-harris
A thank you too, to POW!Thanet Womens’ Festival where the photo featured was taken during a women writers’ panel discussion led by the effervescent Jane Wenham-Jones in a Broadstairs Lit event. Creative Director Christina McQuaid has a fantastic team working with her! More about the festival at https://www.powthanet.com
