AUGUST already!!! Well almost. Some lovely events coming up, and some BIG NEWS soon! But first up : BROADSTAIRS FOLK WEEK is just round the corner, bells and all, and I’m looking forward to hosting the POETRY BREAKFAST in the garden of The Neptune Pub, Harbour St from Sat 12 August from 10am-11 right through the week. Come and share your poems and have breakfast, or just to listen. We like stories too, and music, but there are several events across our lovely Broadstairs, so if you’re not local, a day out at the seaside is a double plus. Weather permitting we may have an extra poetry session at Stone Bay on the Wednesday.

I had a fun photo session with the lovely Setareh Ibrahimi recently where we sought and found a beautiful poppy field in Kent. Setareh as well as being a photographer, is also a beautiful poet.
